Exciting news guys, I just went to my first ever convention. Nekocon!!! It was like a magical dream land full of cosplayers, jap food, Anime, and art!!! I could have died a very happy then and there. So could my wallet, I probably spent more than I should have but it seriously was worth it. I was there the entire weekend (nov. 6-9) I arrived there on friday dressed up as Yuki from Vampire Knight (I borrowed the outfit from a friend)from there I spent most of my money on Princess Tutu and outlaw star collection set, and then even bought (the nearly impossible to find) Darker than Black dvd set. I also bought me an awsome shirt, jewlary and a few plushies.


That night I went to a small concert they had, featureing Suicide Ali, a japannese heavy metal band. They were awsome!!! I even got two cds and a poster of them with their autograph! Of course I embarressed myself infront of the singer since I had no clue what he wanted from me (since they barely spoke english) so I felt like an idiot (stupid language block) but they were really nice, though they were probably thinking how stupid we americans were. But that was not the end of Suicide Ali, my friend and I even got the chance to stalk them....not really. We were walking down the hall and just happened to notice that the people infront of us looked very familiar, turns out it was them, so my friend and I followed them into the art room where they were doing more autographs, then the last day we were being dropped off and ran into them on the way inside. It was fate.


I also got the chance to meet and see such awsome artists, such as her art is so amazing I bought three prints and a necklace from her (and got free candy). I also met who is also awsome. He was actually a friend of one of the girls I went with so she introduced him to me . He (as a person) was great and I got him to draw me. That turned out pretty cool. It was also a humerous event since we came to a conclusion that I was allowed to marry him if his wife ever left him XD but its all for giggles I assure you...or is it? I even got the honor of him calling me a pshyco XD Those were some fun times.

I can't wait for the next convention I go to, I've decided to get my own costume next time. I'm gonna be Hei (sp?) from Darker Than Black [link] I must admit i'm such a nerd
